The Flower Fields – A new publication by Tessa Bunney

The Flower Fields, commissioned and published by NEPN as part of the ‘Observe Experiment, Archive’ project, supported by Arts Council England with texts by Greg Hobson and Caroline Beck and design by Nikie at Hello Creative.

Between March 2019 and February 2020 Tessa Bunney worked with commercial flower growers around Spalding in Lincolnshire, one of the UK’s major cut flower growing regions, to explore how technology is changing how we grow flowers in this country.

Marjolaine Ryley, The Thin Blue Line, the Deep Red Sea – Explorations of Miscarriage and Pregnancy Loss

New e-book and Publication

Marjolaine Ryley has been working with UK charity The Miscarriage Association as their artist in Residence on a project entitled ‘The Thin Blue, Line the Deep Red Sea’.  The new e-book and publication explores the experience of miscarriage through photography and creative writing. The publication also includes a new short essay by writer and curator Camilla Brown.

Funded by Arts Council England through Grants for the arts and Published by NEPN, this work is now available as a free e-book or PDF. Click here to view The Thin Blue Line PDF
